Forums - Sales - PriceWaterHouse Coopers expects major growth + other market info!

I don't know if this has been posted in English anyware but PWC Expects the game industry to grow from $53 Billion in 2008 to $73.5 billion in 2013.

Other interesting tidbits are:

Gaming consoles will see the most growth

Revenue from online gaming will grow from 10.6 percent each year up to $13.7 billion dollars in 2013.

Europe will be the biggest cashcow for the industry growing from $18.1 billion in 2008 to $25.3 billion in  2013.

America will lose it's second place position in 2010 to Asia. Currently it's $16.2 versus $15.7 billion, in 2013 it will be $21.6 versus $24.7 Billion

To be honest I find the switch in markets the most intriguing. Who knows, Europe might finally get their games sooner or on par with America...

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

NPD had the USA video game market at $21.3b in 2008...and my research suggests the world market is much bigger than what they have if you include everything
