Interestingly the Prototype reviews seem good. However, they still have me worried about purchasing this game.
Right now on metacritc the ratings are as follows:
PS3 - 91 - 8 reviews
360 - 83 - 12 reviews
What is throwing me off was Game Pro rated it a 90, while IGN rated it a 78. That is a huge despairity IMO how could reviewers be so wrong either way?
For me the verdict is still out.
Most of the very high scores are from not so credible sources IMO.
The biggest reviewers (IGN, Eurogamers, IGN au) all gave it a good score instead of a great one (like CCC, PGNx (what the hell is that ?), GameChronicles etc. did).
Basically, it's good, but not great.

The reviews in the end will be the same..
If your undecided, rent it then buy it.
I always rent a game if a site like say Gameinformer, a review site I trust, gives a game I think might be good a bad review.
If it sucks then all you did was waste $2.99 on a game rental..

Seriously, I want to know because Blockbuster is like $9 for a game rental.

Euphoria I believe Family Video is a real cheap rental place.
