ARF did OK but we should see these niche games sell better once big core games release for Wii. MH3, Tales of Graces, SW3, and FFCC: TCB should all contribute a lot. In 2010, the Wii should get more core adopters since we'll finally hear about DQ X as well.

KH had a decent drop.

Those games have an absolutely high chance to do solid business on the Wii.  As for ARF, whether it ends up being a monster or not, it'll still find an audience worldwide.  Even if Japan's total will probably be at the short end of the stick, at least it will not be a failure like, say, Opoona.

At first I thought the ps3 had 38400.

Using colons would help next time.

If ARF doesn't break, 100k it's a total dissapointment. MH3 will be just as big as the PSP versions, if not bigger

I don't expect ARF to come close to 100K, but it should sell a solid 75-80k if its legs hold up.  Even so, the debut number is pretty good.

Err isnt that close 100k? Just saying...

My expectations a little lower for ARF. Maybe 50k-60k with legs. I highly doubt 100k in Japan alone. New IP on a console. Thats just asking for trouble but thats Wii and why its sales usually look like shit in Japan.

Only game to break this was WKC but dunno how huge the marketing for that was.

WKC had some good marketing and released at Christmas, but Arc Rise also had some good TV adverts and supposedly a better game on a console with more than double the userbase of PS3.

So it's a wash really.

From what I saw the ARF tv spots were terrible......
I also dunno how much either WKC or ARF commercials actually got aired. Ive seen commercials for Wii games on the internet but i see more PS3 and 360 comercials on TV. Dunno if its the same in Japan.

I also had no idea ARF was suppose to be a better game. Unless a large amount of people said that I dont think you can really say that. As for the userbase its still new IP so ARF has disadvantage still and  WKC was a miracle imo. Great for WKC though.

It takes more than that. Not all famous games made by famous companies sell. I dunno Level 5 and Sony did something right with WKC lol.

ARF is much more independent (I think...) so it will have a harder time. Still I wish it does 100k but doubt it.

Good to see 360 keeping up while PS3 and Wii keep getting down.

Well, importers from GAF and routsounmanman (here at VGC) seem to like a ton. WKC had some mixed reviews from both Famitsu and importers. (Basically, online mode needs voice chat and story mode was good though.)
