Forums - Microsoft - Turn 10 is setting themselves up for a nasty scenario when it releases!

Come on guys, like I have said before they are just happy they have a good game and are hyping it. Would anyone give a damn if they said "we have a good game" ? They are just saying a few things to get it hyped up and people talking about it.

Frankly, I am getting sick of people continually bringing this up. How many threads do we need on this same exact subject? Pretty sure there will be more in the morning as well.

Agreed. How about a catch-all "Turn 10 touched me in a bad place" thread?

Nothing else to improve?

- Dynamic Weather
- Changing time of day
- Rally
- Customize Driver
- F1 cars
- Custom plate
- many more if they use some imagination.

Unless they've designed the game so that I can listen to internet radio and put my right arm around my girlfriend, then there are still improvements to be made.

*E-mails idea to Turn 10*

Well.. if it turns up in Forza 4 I will give you a big Kiss cause it's the best idea ever for a racing game.. now to think of it...

*Emails idea to Rockstar*

From a simulation perspective they probably are approaching the limit of what can be simulated that people would notice without having an order of magnitude more processing power ... Certainly, with 100 times the processing power and 100 times the memory they could create a rough fluid dynamics simulation in order to have the cars be effected by how the wind interacts with the aerodynamics of their body, but how much more can you add without adding a dramatic ammount of processing power?

That's what I thought too... They're not saying they could never make a racing game with more features, they're saying in other words that they're approaching the limits of what the 360 allows.

Honestly I've decided not to buy Forza 3 just cause Turn 10 won't shut the fuck up. No seriously, I wouldn't have bought it anyway cause I really dislike racing sims, but if I was going to buy it now I wouldn't because they won't shut the fuck up.

PS: They could try getting some better car licenses. They are still missing a lot like Nascar, F1, Indy Car, MRC, etc. That might give them something to work on for the next games, considering a lot of people want professional racing cars.

Sounds like "Fable"...

Too much hype will hurt the game

Wow...they really want that poll to go in their favour

People need to stop comparing GT to Forza. The only place where GT was more advanced in the past was sales. Forza has always been the more realistic racer with more things to customize.

GT5's final release is rumored to finally have damage, as well as a nascar mode, so in these regards it may finally offer "more" than Forza, but at the same time the cars will not be as good looking as Forza 3's unless they update those as well before the game releases.

Who cares. I won't be playing either one unless they changed Forza 3 a lot. I hate realistic racing sims. I love arcade racers like the old Need for Speed games.

wow they're really far up their own asses. I mean seriously.. Everything they say is just so arrogant and their attitude needs some serious adjustment.

Check out my game about moles ^

And exactly what bang for the buck will you get doing that?  Sure, it may be better, but what percentage of people will really notice it?  You hit a law of diminishing returns in regards to this.

As far as improvements go, you can improve by actually doing a different game with a different focus.  You can add more content and do more types of races (GT is doing this), but as far as internal quality?
