okay, one .. this will destroy UMD sales, and two this will get more piracy and three trophies CAN be the end of piracy if they did it right

Does anyone really care about trophies, especially trophies on a psp?

Free dlds if you own the UMD is nice.

PSP GO might be my first PSP.

it boosts sales and prevents hacking.

if you hacked a game you wont get a trophy since its hacked.

free downloads of UMD will make piracy be alot easier and it will destory sales.

I don't think not having trophies stops piracy. If you're going to pirate games I don't see why you would care about trophies.

It's good will towards people who already have UMDs. Otherwise they would have no reason to buy psp go. And also gives a reason for some people to continue to buy games now instead of wait for a version to be downloaded.

Maybe having downloads in general would make it easier for pirates to pirate games though...

It would help deter piracy if trophies were there.

I don't see how those things are in any way related. It's like saying people who eat ice cream don't care for cheese.

Trophies are nice, and some of us really like them. Sony has also said that one day trophies will be valuable items too, like credits for Home purchases or exclusive demos/betas.

I might as well just stick with my ds then.

well think about it, alot of people are trophy whores, and they would do anything to get trophies even buying actual games.
that way Piracy = Less espicially in the US
