lol a little early for this? it's still more then a year away

@gilgamesh, yes it is. but i loved ff 11:online so much, i couldnt keep my excitement any longer and decided to start a thread about my next years time investment, ff14:online.

^ lol me too, i was like WTF? after the online showed up.

i was happy when it said FFIV:ONLINE , cause i love playing with ppl from around the world in the ff universe ( ff 11:online ).

Is the online friendly? Could people attack you at anytime? Is the gameplay hard?

@aion , if u ask for help nicely and then help out when others needed it, then yes the online community is friendly. i always help out noobs when they need it, because i like helping others enjoy my 4+ yr love of ff11:online. no ppl can only attack u when u fight in pvp matches ( pvp - player vs player) and they are only in certain areas . u can watch a pvp match going on and nothing will happen to u , because u didnt join it. also the pvp matches are between certain cities, so unless u are from that city involved in the pvp and join it, u wont get attacked. the gameplay is not hard at all, if u go to allakahzam ( might have mispelled it ) is a site that is all about ff11:online, it has every quest/skill/lev cap,artifact gear 1 and 2 on it for u if u need the help. the 1st thing u do is create some macros for spells and weapons skills, i created macros for spells i didnt have yet so when i learned them i could switch to the new macros and be on my way.also after u discover the teleport crystals u can either teleport yourself when u reach the lev to cast the spell or u can shout for a teleport from a mage. u can also ride a ship from the main city to the other city's when u get a pass .

Damn, It either has to be FFXIV or The Old Republic for me =/

@ ROBOTECHHEAVEN good this game sounds nice. Is the story good? I mostly play my mmo's alone.

The story is okay, but to get through the later missions, leveling your character up is very critical. The game isn't hard at all, you just have to stay in a certain area until the monsters get very weak. Within the last year, SE has made the game easier for solo playing due to training regimes, for killing a certain amount of monsters (you get exp from the monsters you kill, plus bonus exp, gil equivelant to the amount of bonus exp gained an tabs used for field support; Protect, Shell, Regen, Refresh, food, etc.).
