Forums - Nintendo - What do you think about Final Fantasy: CC: The Crystal Bearers?

I'm getting it day one

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

"The so-called "hardcore" gamer is a marketing brainwashed, innovation shunting, self-righteous idiot who pays videogame makers far too much money than what is delivered."

Just so long as I don't need 4 DSs to play with the buddies. I still remember the dissappointment of the first Crystal Chronicles.... it was Feb 9, 2004. -.- needed 4 GBAs...

"Since the original game was basically a dungeon crawler with little to no story"

It actually had a good story if you payed attention...

TCB looks awesome, will get for sure. I liked FFCC on GC.

Yeah, there was a story.  It just moved soooo slowly though.  The game needed a faster pacing than it had.

Looking to be a really good game. I'm very excited for it and I actually really liked Crystal Chronicles on the Gamecube.

this game will be less fun than its predecessors because it is single player.

seriously why would you play FF:CC singleplayer?

Honestly?

This game is my Zelda for 2009. Hopefully it won't disappoint.. but that shouldn't happen. Have you seen all the trailers? The game looks completely amazing.

Its my #1 most anticipated release of 2009 :)

Been wanting it since first announced a few years ago.
It's like Squares version of Zelda.

It does look a lot like Zelda. But on the other hand, all I've seen from it are mini games.

I'm predicting a 67% on metacritic for this one. It just doesn't look good.

It has Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles in its name which usually is a bad sign.

Fixed :P

(don't ban me, Naz. I'll never do it again)
