I just thought I'd post about this new feature for the PS3.  When I read about this last year, I thought it sounded great and too good to be true, but it is in fact coming true and will be with us in 2 days time.

The only negative for me will be my internet speed, I really hope it keeps up with it...but iPlayer works fine in my PS3 browser, so hopefully everything works out okay.

We effectively have a version of council tv seeing as we don't pay for sky and only get the freeview channels and there is the odd music channel available to us, but to get this service will be great and totally free of charge.  And the only limitation is really that there is the odd advert and a 30 second ad between every 5 videos....just like ads on the music channels then.

And there is over 10,000 tracks for it going live...great!!!

yea we've had loads of posts about the service. but yea i'm really looking forward to it. probably the best thing on the eu psn. films video store should be with us by the end of the year

THIRTY minute ad between every 5 songs? Is there any way around that?

I won't be getting this feature anyways, but I had wanted it to come to NA until I just heard that.

Well I just went and reread the OP, so I didn't misread that. But I didn't read the link, so the OP must have confused things.

Thirty seconds is much more acceptable. Thirty minutes, on the otherhand, is ridiculous.
