I would have to agree with the people that said WiiSports and WiiFit.

Gotta admit, halo 3 was what caused me to get an xbox even though i was scared of the RRoD and system errors. I haven't had a coffin sent to me yet ;d

I think if you read my OP you will see I am talking about yet to be released games. Perhaps I didn't say it explicitly but my view is that all the system selling games have already been released, apart from, maybe, GT5 and FFXIII. Other than these 2 games pretty much all the games mentioned above are already in the market and obviously are assisting to sell systems. It's axiomatic that a gaming system only sells if there are games to play that a lot of people want to play. So saying Wii Sports sells systems is a no-brainer. Question is will Wii Sports 2 raise Wii sales to a new level, or cause a massive spike in Wii sales when first released? I think not, people will continue to buy Wii at about the same rate, with seasonal spikes at holiday time and such.

And will it be the game or the colour that drives black Wii sales with the MH tri bundle? The fact they will need to bundle a black Wii with MH tri kinda implies that it's the black that will convince people to buy the bundle rather than the game.

I´m thinking they want a deadly combo with Monster Hunter 3/new color, and it will most likely work. The new color raises demand but so does the game. Had it been only MH 3 sales would almost certainly still have increased ( Monster Hunter is a big game in Japan and it touches a demographic that most likely are not Wii´s current audience) but of course the new color takes it to another level.

Also, Dragon Quest is always a systemseller in Japan. Look for Dragon Quest IX and X to be huge for NDS and Wii.
