Agreed. But I hear PS3 is on the brink of being profitable. They also make money through software and services like Home. After this gen. I'd expect them (if they even enter) to enter the next gen. with a console that makes profit from day 1.

Nintendo loses for 2 consecutive generation(not counting handhelds) but they still don't dropped out

so for Sony to drop because of 1 generation... hmmm... it is just impossible...

in case for inFamous...it is a new ip, so what do you expect...

I would go back to PC/Nintendo gaming

I would be heart broken though

Sega was my thing then they fucked up i couldnt bare it to happen to me again. deffo because i love sony first and 2nd party. I have always loved the Japanese twist on gaming. So Nintendo would be the last fort

If you (or Sony) were hoping for InFamous to do gangbusters (which, while most won't admit it now, a LOT of you were...), it really should have been a better game.

I think the PS3 exclusives have been overall underwhelming save for a select few. I've only purchased a handful, and I've been really dissapointed in all but 1 or 2. InFamous just isn't a great game, and is certainly $60 I could have better spent elsewhere, and it looks like the majority of the Sony customer base felt the same. Still, nearly 200k first week for such a game is pretty damned good. If they can do those numebrs on games like this, then Sony can certainly hold out this gen.

i went from ps1, to xbox 1, last gen,

if sony drops out, and they want the most comparable experience, its either 360, or pc, end of story

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6). This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

So when GTA V (or basically a big title) comes out you'd be willing to wait 6+ months for a PC port? This is the only thing that sucks about PC gaming. It's best to have it in combination with a console seeing how the gaming market focuses arounds consoles.
