- - Warhammer 40,000 rule book

There was a film that consisted of horror shorts. One involved a guy who has a run in with the Devil's pickup truck on a desert road, and another involved a guy who breaks into an arcade to play his favourite game. But the game comes alive!!!!! the horrors. The scary twist is the next day when they open the mall. The kid is actually IN the game machine. dun dun dunnnnn.

I'm still holding out hope for a Peter Jackson Halo movie to end the constant suckage of videogame movies.

With that said, Silent Hill is the only movie adapted from a video game that I found even remotely tolerable.

I really liked Existenz.

"Allegra Geller, the leading game designer in the world, is testing her new virtual reality game, eXistenZ with a focus group. As they begin, she is attacked by a fanatic assassin employing a bizarre organic gun. She flees with a young marketing trainee, Ted Pikul, who is suddenly assigned as her bodyguard. Unfortunately, her pod, an organic gaming device that contains the only copy of the eXistenZ game program, is damaged. To inspect it, she talks Ted into accepting a gameport in his own body so he can play the game with her. The events leading up to this, and the resulting game lead the pair on a strange adventure where reality and their actions are impossible to determine from either their own or the game's perspective."

How on EARTH could I have forgotten Existenz!? I still have my VHS copy. I'm a huge Cronenberg fan. And while it isn't his best film, it's got a great cast and some terrific ideas in there.

Resident Evil: Extinction.

It is like RE4 on steroids, and with hot chicks. And Wesker.

mesoteto, the actors you're asking about are Raul Julia and Edward Furlong.

The Last Starfighter and The Wizard are both way cool films. Other than that, I have to give props to the first MK movie and the RE movies. My guilty pleasure? House of the Dead. :)
