FFXIV is slated for next year however I expect Versus to release before the MMO. If not I will not be shocked at all if it renamed as FF XV. -_-

TGS is when more info will be releases about the game.

It isn't FFXIV, Nomura said that so much was going to happen at E3 2009 that he didn't want vsXIII to drown in the light. He obviously knew about the awesome FFXIII trailer and the bombshell FFXIV announcement. So in a recent interview he said that he wasn't going to bring vs to E3, but would bring us a large present later in the year. It will DEFINITELY be at TGS.

There is:

Final Fantasy XIII (main game)
Final Fantasy Versus XIII (different story to XIII but set in the same world and exclusive to PS3)
Final Fantasy Agito XIII (again set in the same world as XIII but on the PSP)

Final Fantasy XIV is an online only game and is completely different to the other games!
