Japanese is definitely not by default better. Ever heard the Japanese voices in SO4? They are just as shitty.

Yes but at least I don't have to understand how shitty they are...

And the only time I've heard the Japanese voice is in trailers which was tolerable except for the mental retard kid (god she is so annoying no matter which VA I listen to ... mkaaay???)

lol, yeah, if you haven't, read every other post in this thread. Sure, SE making it where you ONLY can listen to the VA sucks...however the English VA megarawks! Specially for my dearest Lightning.
