i agree, im sorry im not a HARDCORE Japanesse Otaku that cant apreciate American voices.
i dont even watch anime. i prefer english voices but make them right. those cgi trailers cost a fortune but the Va are usually average. ff12 was also quite good by the way.

yes Snow and Sazh are the best ones. the kid sounds weird too but kids in rpgs always do.
i think we should demand more from SE in the VA deparment. its very cheap compare to cgi for example.

No it's not. It's just as good if not better, judging by the quality of this VA.

TBH I'm loving it. But if you have a PS3, keep in mind that you can listen to the audio in Japanese with english subs :)

No you can't, at least not according to Kitase who advised that they 'might not' (ie won't) ship the western version with Japanese voice acting due data limition, this applies to the PS3 as well just to keep 'parity'.
I was seriously depressed after hearing that, but after hearing the English VA I find myself not minding it that much, English voice for other SE games this gen had been just short of atrocious, SO, IU, LR everyone one of them had some shocking dialogue that just scream 'lame' and I was dreading that they'll butcher this as well, thankfully, its looking ok.

I would usually agree with you, but the kids in Lost Odyssey actually had pretty decent voices IMHO.
