For those of you who have played L4D, Do you think Valve should make another sequel despite L4D1 having been out for less than a year?

Yes.

I've played L4D a fair bit on the 360 and it gets a bit too predictable.

This ain't something that can be fixed with a firmware patch on the 360, it's a fundamental issue of the game.

NOTE: I never bought L4D for 360 or PC (I know longer own the later, lucky my friend does), so I am a little biased. (As I haven't forked out the cash or the first one).

The only people that seem to oppose L4D2 here are suspiciously sporting Killzone 2 Avatars and have Sony tags in their signatures!!!

When the game comes out it will be 1 year. And yes it deserves a sequel.

Left 4 Dead is truly an exceptional game and i played it for longer than 90% of other games this gen.

Best 5 months solid that i have spent on a game for a very long time.

Personally i can't wait for Left 4 Dead 2 and L4D2 coming out a year after the first means nothing to me.

Real L4D fans are clamoring for a sequel, so it is as Seece said, the only people against L4D2 are sony fanboys.

Absolutely, I have been wanting another L4D for a while now. Granted, I want Episode 3 more....:)......but L4D2 will be awesome. I am extremely excited for this one.

All you need to do is ask yourself this question. If one of your favorite games and studios could produce a quality sequel in 1 year, would you want/purchase it? I think the resounding answer from the majority would be.....YES!

they can make two sequels in the next 2 months, and i'll be ok with that

The first one sucked ass imo. So a L4D2 wouldnt hurt anyone, but it sure as hell isnt a day one for me like the first one was.

Correction not all.  I'd probably consider myself more of a Sony fanboy than any other fanboy type if i had to choose.  I love zombie games and im pretty jealous that you Xbox360 are getting an awesome sequal to an awesome game.  Lucky.  But im glad there are some Xbox360 owners that do enjoy that game and are waiting for the sequal.  If there's so much hate for this game then a dev should port it to PS3 and ill show it some love =)

(of course i can get it for PC but i prefer the comfort of my couch and a bigger screen lol)
