Forums - Sony - Call me an idiot, but....(Infamous Question)

I haven't seen any mission glitches. I've just finished first play though and although I saw graphical/AI glitches - none of them were terrible and most were amusing - I didn't have a problem with any missions.

BTW Starcraft - the echo missions can be tricky in that you seem to need to wait for the echo to 'reset' sometimes between using your radar. I find the best bet is follow it until you hit combat or it disappears, wait until you are sure the echo isn't anywhere visible and trigger your radar again.

I thought a few times it had disappeared completely on me - but it hadn't, it was just playing hard to get. Triggering your radar too much seems to cause this to happen, so I only trigger once for an echo and never trigger again until I'm sure I've completely lost the echo.

p.s. my favorite glitch to far is with A.I. - I was fighting a bunch of reapers on the rooftops, and one with a shield was so keen to get to the edge to shoot me he pushed off all his buddies in the process! I love those kinds of glitches - they almost seem more real in a way because the A.I.s abruptly surprised you.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

While we're all here, another question. If somebody who starts a side mission accidentally dies in crossfire, will he/she come back if I kill myself, or do I have to load? It's happened to me twice, I reloaded both times.

Kantor I"m pretty sure they'd come back if you kill yourself. Wow that sentence sounds wrong. I didn't know starcraft played ps3 games shows how little I know.

You don't need to load the game, it has happened on numerous occasions for me, if you wait long enough they will respawn...

They come back later. Don't worry. It's no problem.

If you wait a bit they return.  And damn, I just realised I missed the chance to call Starcraft an idiot.

Given how open the game is, so far I've been surprised how hard it is to break it - something I often try with games just to see what happens.  I've come close but never got Cole stuck on difficult geometry - although I notice that the engine seems to default to letting you clip through awkward edges vs trapping you.  A little ugly a times, but better than being stuck I guess.

I also took out all the people waiting with side quests, amused when the game actually let me.  They came back, though, without any need to re-load.

for me the game started freezing up but it turned out that way my ps3 itself having problems and not the game. Had to send in my PS3 would have finished the game by now too

They don't die. You just have to wait exactly 5 minutes for them to get up again. Or zap them back to live when you have that ability. The 5 minute-thing works with anyone, but not sure if you're that patient.

I mean once they've already passed that stage and are dead. If I chuck two lightning grenades at a Dustman, the person will die, not just lie on the floor.
