I don't see anything wrong with the reviews, some people like different types of games and it shows.

Halo3 10 to MP3 7, Mp play +1, over 100hours of gameplay +1, graphics +1. Now you can see how Halo gets rated 3 points higher.

With lair getting a 3. Who cares how it looks or sounds if you can't control the Dragon. Some people are good with motion controls and some people hate them. I can see how a game like this could get a 3.

The wii games i have played controlled bad for me and i would rate them all 2 points lower then the same game with normal controls, while you might give it plus two points for the controls.

Ugh, this is a horrible post in every way.  I guess I'll start with the top.

Okay, if you are going to start taking off points for no multiplayer in Adventure games then Zelda, Tomb Raider, and Uncharted are not going to be happy campers.  Bioshock and Oblivion (technically RPG) seem to have gotten off easy too...

Over 100 hours of gameplay?  The campaign is 7 hours on normal if you don't suck.  It's 10 on Legendary if you don't suck.   Multiplayer games and single player games are very different.  Multiplayer games should not be rated higher automatically.

You don't count off on Wii games for not having Xbox 360 level graphics.  That's just stupid.  If that were how how we reviewed games every PS2 game ever made would have been counted off for not looking as good as the best Xbox or GC games.  Every PSone game would have been counted off a LOT for not looking like N64 games.  GBA games, PSP games, and DS games would all be counted off.  You compare the graphics to other games on that platform. not on other platforms.

Nearly ever major review source not only admitted the Wii controls worked well, they claimed they were better than any dual analog controls ever made.  As someone who plays both MP3 and many dual analog shooters I can confirm that.  Dual Analog is simply not as good.  Does that mean we should count off points for Xbox 360 and PS3 games because they are not capable of that control scheme that's superior to theirs?  No, because those systems never had that capability to begin with.  Just as the Wii never had the ability to display PS3 and 360 graphics and shouldn't be counted off for it.

@naznatips, i don't see how going off on me is going to make them give MP3 a higher score. I showed you a way that someone could rate the game and give Halo3 3 points higher. Do i agree that Halo should be 3 points higher, NO. But i think Halo3 should be rated higher. The replay value means more to me then wii controls or a 40 hour 1 player mode.

Halo3 9.5 to MP3 8.5 would be my rating. Of course i have not played either game but i have watched alot of hours of gameplay from Halo3, and i know for a fact that i would like Halo alot more then MP3.

"Dual Analog is simply not as good." This is your opinion, just like how i like the two sticks more. Not every gamer is the same. All i did was show you how someone may come to rate a motion controlled game lower.

I didn't "go off on you." I simply pointed out the glaring flaws of logic in your post.

See, the difference is that not only have I played both Halo 3 and MP3 extensively, but I also have used both control schemes.  I have justification for my opinon.  I also have support for my opinion from many sources such as IGN and Gametrailers who both assert without any shred of doubt that it surpasses Dual Analog controls.  You see you claim you are of the opinon that it doesn't, but since you haven't actually used it you don't have a biased assumption about it.  There is a difference.

I have played with motion controls and i hate them, it was nothing to do with the wii or anything. I hate them in the PS3 aswell. Based on this i know i will not like any game that uses them. I can also use the same logic about NFL games, i don't like football so i know from the start i will not like any football games. I can also use the same logic when it comes to Halo VS Metroid, i liked Halo 1&2 while i hated Metroid 1&2. So i can see myself liking Halo over Metroid. I also played the GBA metroid and hated it aswell.

Did you play Metroid 1 & 2 Gran Turimso?

When has a 10 ever meant perfect? You can't get perfect. You can get a masterpiece, and that's what Edge thought Halo 3 was, a masterpiece. Something that doesn't come around that often that will consume an insane amount of hours of FUN for its consumers.

Isn't that what games are all about? You really can't argue about that.

Obviously you havent played Halo3. Legendary 10 hours? I think not. It's next to impossible.

Halo 3 Is the best next gen title s far. It deserves the praise. It's campagn looks gorgeous and the storytelling top notch. I expected people to cuss Halo 3, Just like people cuss Star Wars.

I played a Percentage of them. But i got bored from playing them. But i did watch someone else play the games all the way to the end. I remember the first time i played MP1 for he GC, the game had amazing graphics and it was fun for the first 3 hours then i just started to not care about the game and i never played it again, but it was interesting to scan all the objects and learn about them.

Mp2 was more fun and the action parts were better but i never really cared about the game or the peope in it. While games like Halo 1&2 i have played for over 100 hours each and thats just in the story mode. I played through the story modes just the other day again for each game. I beat Halo1 on all levels but could never beat halo2 on legendary.

Well good players should take 10 hours on legendary.

I will never leave you

10 hours on legendary maybe with 4 player co-op with all good players.  Try it on 1 player legendary and see how long it takes.  I still never beat halo 2 on legendary, so that puts Halo2 singe player mode at over 3 years :P
