Final Fantasy 7 is going to be released on the PSP. Square was asked recently during a FFXIII demonstration whether they were working on FF7 for the PS3 and they said no, but it was a good idea.

 

The tech demo was shown on the PS3 and I still have the video on my PS3.

According to your logic, FF7 remake for PS3 is coming.

Just how do you think the Japanese have beaten so many "inventors" at their own game? It is their methodology. They have taken many technologies invented in other countries, studied them, and then perfected them to the point of destroying the competition... See history. Cars. Cellular Phones. Laser-Read-Disks. The list is very long... In the end, the Japanese have studied the competition and one-upped them. I'm sure PD has the same intentions...

I agree with this so much.

As Americans we tend to get very arrogant, and Turn 10 seems to be taking that to the max.

Nope. I just told you that Square Enix denied it didn't I? If it was true that it was coming to the PS3, we would've seen something by now. There is no remake, just the same old game being sent to the PSN store.

I'd say they deserve to gloat. They created a superior game in the same amount of time it took Polyphony to create GT5 Prologue with more cars and more tracks. I say these guys mean business.

A CGI video shown doesn't mean the development is started.
