I think Avinash_Tyagi's comic strip sums up why Ninty is trolled.
The Wii is seen as a kids toy compared to the 360 and PS3 by their respective owners.
Especially PS3 owners due to it being the most powerful (in some ways) console.

Regardless I'll be finishing Punch out in a few days when my arms aren't as sore.
Waggle takes a lot out of you. Maybe it's simply too much effort for the Wii's detractors.

What's worse is that sometimes those who troll the worst are Wii owners saying they are doing it to support the console or to get Nintendo to change its ways.

New core IPs? Monado, Disaster, etc. Old franchises? Punch Out, "Excite" series, Golden Sun, etc. Releasing some of the big names they have? Zelda, Mario, Paper Mario, SSB, Metroid, etc. And they're releasing a new Mario, Zelda, and Metroid next year and possibly a new Intelligent System's game (FE or PM) and Retro also have a new game (though it's probably a new IP).

See, you can never win with these people :) Yeah, we present facts but they choose to deny them. Thus the circle of life continues :P

True Nintendo hate is irreversible. Those people are just jealous I think. They would like their favorite console to have this kind of success but they don't. Pathetic...

You're wrong. I'm a well-known Wii hater here. But if Mario Galaxy 2 turns out the way I want it and Tales of Ten is as good as Vesperia, the Wii will instantly become my favorite console.

No one gives a damn about how well the Wii does, people just want the real Nintendo back.

That's part of Nintendo Trolling 1.2.  It was introduced in an early patch as an attempt to create some sort of legitimacy.  Unfortunately, our detractors eventually discovered this strategy, and now begin to suspect the opposite as soon as "I love Nintendo, but..." is uttered.  Now, it is suggested that one attempts to come off as a neutral bystander taking an objective look at the industry.  Unfortunately, doing so requires careful use of diction and considerable skill with prose, whereas Nintendo trolls specialize more in logical fallacies and smoke and mirrors.
