The Gamecube was back to zero when it relaunched as the Wii. The Gamecube has relaunched again, the PS3 just did, you have to go through the lonely singular torture.

I am glad that the PS3 Slim showed that the PS3 has still a big potential but to say that the real launch started now is a little bit too much. Atleast in Europe and Japan the true launch Price of a Playstation2 Console was not 299 Dolla. I remember the PS2 launched in Europe at at 869 DM that would be in Euro now 440 Euro and in Dollar at this time it was about 500 Dollar even in Japan it was about 350 Dollar the PS was always the most expensive Console at its launch. Except the Time with Saturn it was a little Cheaper. But the PS 2 and 3 where really expensive I still don`t understand why the PS2 was so cheap in America. The Price for the PS3 in Europe was not even a shock for me PS1 was 259 Eur PS2 440 Euro and PS 3 was 549 ( I take the middle)
