You know you are right, why leave out Japan unless you are avoiding FF PS3 & MH3 Wii sales?

Though I don't know if Japan's sales alone will push them into the top ten for the year.

I think Wii Sports Resort can beat Modern Warfare 2. It will have a several month head start and by the time the holidays roll around it will be selling with just about every new Wii sold I think.

Wiifit will be the best selling game this year, it already ha a 6 million copies lead.

Both should make it. Wii Play sold over 11 million in 2008, which was an increase of 8 million in 2007. Mario Kart Wii sold 13 million last year. They're already at #2 and #3 for this year if we don't include Wii Sports. 10th place last year was Nintendogs at 4.4 million. Both games are already nearing 3 million. I think they stand a good chance.

EA Sports Active and Punch-Out will be a multi milion selling games this year - i wouldn't be suprised if EA Sports Active by the end of 2009 will hit 4.5+milions. Punch-out have a strong chance to hit at least 2mln with good advertisment and stellar shipments.

Why is everyone forgetting L4D2 ? the first sold more than Uncharted ... and Uncharted came out an entire year before and was bundled ...

while L4D2 is probably gonna sell really well, its being released in Q4, so it probably wont make the top 10 in before the year's end
