What you said about IX is exactly how I feel about it! A place to call home moves me like few other tunes do.
But yeah, my favorite varies from IX to VII (and even V sometimes). So I'm some sort of freak, like Carl.
The only one I truly hate is VIII.

This is a good thread, should get more attention. Though I'd recomend the FF VI GBA version over the PS1 one as, if I remember, it had horrible load times, even for menus and stuff.

As of right now I only own FFX and FFVIII, planing on buying VII, IX, XII, and IV this summer, hopegully I can pass all of them before XIII.

BTW: Maybe you should add X-2 there?

i remember FFV had horrible load times on PS1 , but FFVI didn't , though the reason i picked FFVI over the GBA version is those CGI Cutscenes.

weird, didnt have any loading times here, perhaps cause i got the PAL version which was released alone, not in the "Anthology" pack
