Forums - Sony - Speculation: RE: Portable to feature Adhoc coop?

This is my personal speculation, inspired by this thread: http://vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=75223 "

Capcom twittered this after the Sony E3 conference: "Capcom Mystery Game #2: Resident Evil PSP. All new, designed specifically for PSPGo. A ways out, but an awesome design planned."

Personally, I think this means RE:P will have Adhoc coop. We already know that Capcom has seen huge success with the Monster Hunter games on the PSP, and much of that success is owed to the Adhoc coop.

Also, previous Resident Evil games have shown that the game can work well in coop.

What do you think? Will Capcom try to capitalize on Adhoc multiplayer, or is it something else entirely?

But of course, this game comes from the same company whom are making huge sums of money thanks to the MH games on PSP which support ad-hoc coop. Ad-hoc is the attraction of the PSP MH games so Capcom will want to do that with the RE:P as well.

They will and they should.

Yes

Yep. And I'll love that.

Which game is that? The newest Resident Evil that gets notoriously hated on for supposedly changing the formula to a shooter or the PS2 online game almost no one has played or gives a shit about?

Both. While I'm not a Resident Evil fan by any means, I had great fun in coop in the RE5 demo, which is the only reason I intend to get it. And the people I know who have played the PS2 games have praised them for the coop, so I think it's most certainly doable.
