I would not call saying MH3 will not do millions lifetime hating on the game, I would call that not being delusional. I do say the next PSP MH game willl outsell MH3 Wii with ease, I doubt anyone would want to bet against that.

A 500k opening week for a game like MH3 will translate in ~1 million lifetime. If you think MH3 can do 1.5 million you have to believe in a higher opening week as well. Unless you believe in better legs than your average big game (which you clearly don't).

The people who believe MH3 can do over 2 million are very, very scarce. I personally also think 1.5 million isa reasonable number.

Yes, the PSP games do sell more. So what? This is a console MH and it will easily outsell every previous console MH.

I don´t know if you´re hating on MH 3 but every post I have read where you comment on the game you can´t help but talk it down in favor of the PSP version, which isn´t even annonced yet as far as I know (sure it will most likely come but we don´t know yet). We all know that a portable version will do great and most likely better than a console version but we can talk about MH 3 for Wii without comparing it to a PSP version which isn´t even annonced yet.

By the way I don´t think your prediction for MH 3 sound bad and I think 1,5 million lifetime would be a GREAT number for the game.

LOL what? Firstly you say I am "hating" on MH3 and then I tell you that I am not hating but saying that in comparison to the PSP MH games it will not sell anywhere near. Then you say "so what?".

But why PRG must you always point out how much better the portable version of Monster Hunter is/will do? We all know that. Don´t you find it interesting how MH 3 for Wii will do with all the momentum the series has gotten over the last few years?

Dude, for over at least half a year you're posting in every MH3 thread that it won't sell like the PSP games. And while everyone minus a few overly positive members agree with that you still bring it up every time to downplay MH3 on Wii, which is annoying.

And you weren't simply comparing:

People predicting 750k first week for MH3..........har har har very funny people.

That's clearly laughing at someone's opinion.

And yes: So what the PSP games sell more. Since that's your pet peeve please explain.

I haven't played the console versions, but I loooove the arcade game.  I played it in Japan and I played it at a Japanese arcade in Los Angeles just last week.  It's really really fun.  You get 2 sticks and you beat the hell out of a drum to the rhythm.  You hit it in the center or on the rim, and you use one stick or both.  There are tons of gameplay videos on the YubeTube.

After people hyping the shit out of how MH3 will sell I see no reason why I should not mention the PSP versions which have already sold numbers that people here are dreaming of for MH3. MH3 portable will make the MH3 sales on Wii look pathetic, tell me what is wrong with telling the truth?

I am killing some fantasy people are in about sales? Samus I do find it interesting how the MH3 on Wii will sell due to the franchise gaining momentum on the PSP so that is why I am here in this thread. Will easily outsell the PS2 MH games.

They have no place in the discussion because they're not relevant. Your constant need to damage control MH3 by clinging desperately to a version of the game that doesn't even exist yet is trolling.
