no way, if Nintendo had it they would still say the Wii is last gen and this stuff, and that the show was awful and there's lack of mature titles and that's why they would never buy a Wii.... (and obviously, Natal is not a mature game?)

my whole point is that Nintendo hate has grown too much, in such a point that whatever those genius people show is treated like a parasite to hard core gamers, even when they show hard core games (sequel to 9.7 rated game, 8m seller anyone?) they still say Nintendo's conference is bad, and they would have said even worse if Nintendo has shown Natal project (most gamers)

You are basing what most gamers think off of a few vocal members.  I could do the same for Nintendo fans and say that they will love whatever nintendo brings out even if they came out with Wii Poo and it was a flaming bag of literal shit.  Just because some vocal members of a group are like this does not mean they are all. 

Well yea... probably so. My thoughts would have remained the same. Cool idea but I need to see it further along... and Milo is still creepy but hilarious. I mean with the other things Nintendo started with Wii and DS the press met it with interest but not love. Intrigue but could really have cared less. Most wrote them off kinda like GC that it would be a great system that no one wanted. But NATAL and Sony's wand, first attempts, and they seem to be pretty on board straight from the beginning. Maybe because Nintendo has already shown them how awesome it is... or because they refuse to question. Not Nintendo fans playing victim... but sadly seems to be the truth. How sad this world has become.

Pretty much every link you gave me pointed to their pessimism based on Nintendo's past track record with consoles.You are confusing hate in the media with cautian based on Nintendo losing passed console wars and getting less and less sales each consecutive generation.In fact, some that say they aren't completely "certain about the controls" sounds extremely familiar to the vocals against the Natal that think that it "might not work".

Oh, and half those links are NOT the media, specifically the ones who don't like the controller. They are other console/game devs. Give me links that actually prove YOU are right, not that the competition doesn't like the Wii.

I think you've rather missed the point, that being that anti-Nintendo sentiment was ALREADY THERE. Ergo even though the Wii has been a runaway success, and a genuine analysis of the strategy involved instead of basing assumptions on the recent marketshare-centric performance of company releasing it would have revealed as much (there are a few of those hidden about too, most of them loaded with comments at the time of how clearly wrong they must be because they do NOT cling to anti-Nintendo sentiment), the anti-Nintendo bias stepped in and colored the analyses. I don't think you can get much clearer examples of anti-Nintendo bias than that.

Again your confusing anti-Nintendo thoughts for simply caution, pessimism and hate by competitors, not media. Well of course Nintendo's rivals are gonna get pissy with them, every competitor wants their market share to be as high as possible, so hoping Nintendo does as bad as possible is as normal to them as Nintendo hoping THEY do as bad as possible. Get more examples, but this time, from the general media, not Ninty competitors or analysts going strictly from what they SHOULD have expected from Nintendo.
