Forums - Nintendo - Who here wants Super Smash Bros DS?

I would love a smash bros game for the ds but only if it has an online battle mode.

Yes.
Jump Ultimate Stars is over rated and complete crap. I need a real Smash for DS.

what, are you kidding me? jump ultimate stars is an amazing game.

No Im not. Its slow stiff and confusing. (My bias of all the shit anime/characters in the game aside) I just dislike the game.

no.

The controls wouldnt work, cause the DS uses a d-pad.

All smash games involve using smash attacks, wich involves tilting and moving your control stick fast enough.

Also, im not getting anymore smash bros games, or any fighting games in genereal on the wii or DS until nintendo does updates on their consoles.

You can play Brawl with the Wiimote tilted sideways. No analog stick, but it still works.

I would love Super Smash Bros. DS. Especially if there was voice chat, so I could rub my victory in the faces of everyone else!

YES. And the controls would work perfectly fine.

Evidence: Wiimote sideways as a control scheme in Brawl.

^Yeah but the Wiimote sideways sucks.

Crusty VGchartz old timer who sporadically returns & posts. Let's debate nebulous shit and expand our perpectives. Or whatever.

Yeah but maybe you just suck. =P

Wiimote sideways is the only way I play.

^Yes, but the DS has more buttons sideways than the remote, including 2 trigger buttons and 2 more face buttons!

Wiimote sideways doesn't work because of the button placements. The d-pad can still work on the DS.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
