Forums - Gaming - I just realized that the Wii Vitality Sensor is going to change gaming

Think of it! There could be a game with a last boss that can ONLY be beaten by feeding the vitality censor the irregular (lack of) hearbeat unique to a heart attack! Beating it would make you the most hardcore gamer ever, thus reclaiming Nintendo's image as the hardcore king.

Think of Bruno, Sacha Baron Cohen's gay Australian reporter. Clearly Australians are crazy.

I'm incredibly skeptical but I also know Nintendo do incredible things that others couldn't.

My biggest worry is that it takes the place of the nunchuck so whatever they do, they're going to have to do it only with the remote and possibly balance board.

If Sony can add a control stick to their motion thingy, Nintendo can easily add a port extension to the vitality sensor just like WM+.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I'm pretty excited about the Vitality sensor too. It'll be interesting to see what Nintendo does with it.

Haha, Vitality sensor will be huge

If they changed the connector to it, it could easily be worn on your pinky finger while holding the nunchuck in the same hand.

Just a thought.

You know i'm beginning to suspect that Rol isn't actually from Australia.  But yes, Australians are crazy.

There have been tons of announcements this week at E3, but the Wii Vitality Sensor has fallen to the wayside in the shadow of games like New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Metroid: Other M. But this little piece of hardware has the potential to change the way we think of gaming.

Now Nintendo didn't show any games for it, nor did they exactly explain what it is going to be used for, but knowing Nintendo, I am excited about what they can do with it. After the Wiimote itself and Motion Plus this is definitely going to be the next big step in gaming.

Imagine the possibilities of the Wii Vitality Sensor. It's going to push gaming to the next level and leave Sony and Microsoft in the dust.

You have convinced me with your intuitive reasoning and infallible theory, for your logic is undeniable.
