The Natal hardware does the processing on site and then transmits the results to the Xbox 360. The Xbox 360 and developers only see Natal as another interface, it doesn't take up valuable processing power and therefore can be ported easily and even patched into older games.

Ive never seen the Natal being showed on CNN, or etc. Anyways Microsoft has said that Natal will come out late 2010, by then the PS3 would have already released their motion controller. I say Microsoft should just save this Natal for xbox 720. It would be very smart.

See thats the sort of publicity that Sony or Nintendo don't get so easily. I am talking about the corporate media.
Once something gets shown on CNN it has a much bigger impact then internet forums or blogs
It is better to die on one's feet
then live on one's knees
the concept is great, but MS is trying to do something that only Nintendo can do, only Nintendo could take full advantage of this kind of project
but the fact the youtube views are high mean real popularity and now, there's no way the Natal project to pass unseen
still, in order to have an effect on the console war it has to be a worldwide phenomenon like the Wii has been, i don't think Natal will have this kind of popularity, reason: Wii, Balance Board, WM+ and who knows what else until MS releases that thing....

Yup that 6 months will be all it takes for the PS3 Motion control to take over. To be honest if your going to release something like this what matters is getting it out for the holidays and having good software to launch with it.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
