I am going to Funspot in NH so I can play some classic aracde games. Especially DK. I want to practice on DK so I can put up a good score. I am practicing on the DK machine in DK64(High Score 110,000). I am wondering I'am I using the best "clone" of DK or is there a better one out there?

not sure if it uses the arcade vers or the NES port how many levels are in the DK64 version?

I don't know but it is cool that you are going to the world's largest arcade in the Live Free or Die! state of New Hampshire.  Last weekend was the most important weekend in arcade gaming, the 11th Annual International Classic Video Game Tournament!  I was in the area but couldn't make it do to a conflict which came up :(

 In Dk64 each level has the four main stages. Then new level. I made it to level 5.

I live in MA. so it is not too far away(about 2 hrs). I was going to go too, but din't end up going.

the dk 64 one is the best port you'll find, only the A800 and some C64 ports have all 4 screens and they are not as accurate, though the difficulty still seems toned down to me

Best emulation is to MAME the original arcade ROM. It's almost certainly illegal where you live though. :(

The DK64 arcade thing is the original arcade DK. Not the Nes port like on the VC. Hopefully they release the arcade version for VC too.
