so in heavy rain i know that there are no "game overs" but in this video

them but the story continues. have they explain how thats gonna work?

No the story doesn't continue after all characters die. It isn't game over. It's the end of the game. You finish the game when the characters die. It is the sad ending but it's only one of the endings. If you finish it with one character that is probably one ending, or if you finish it with all character i bet that is the best ending.

If you lose all your characters and the story stops, I consider that a game over o_O;

No it's not game over, it's the ending that you get. If you let your characters die, or if you aren't good at the game and die all the time then it is only one of the endings.

You can't die early in the game though because they want you to have feeling for these characters.

As i said there are multiple endings to the game. Having all your characters die is one of them.

So technically it's like when you die to Lavos in Chrono Trigger and it says "And the world refused to change" or something like that?

Wow this is amazing concept.

I played his earlier (Indigo Prophesy) and it was great story telling and presentation.

However it suffered from clunky controls and average graphics.

Looks like they have improved a lot in these areas and these have actually become their strengths.

I guess this has the potential to be a classic.

Yeah, basically. But i don't think Heavy Rains saves will allow you to just go back to a certian point. I think you have to do the whole game over again. But i'm not sure. They want you to play the game many ways so it will be different every time.

I was just using it as an example...
