Quite a change from the thread in which you called the Natal demos scripted and fake.

They were scripted, well Milo was at least, preset heh.  What i meant, Microsoft tried to make it seem like it was all realtime and youcould asked Milo anything for an answer.

Actually the media has had plenty opportunities to interact with Milo and Molyneux has been candid on the issue because the Milo demo we saw on stage was not scripted in the sense all the code could do was replicate the conversation with the female employee on the video.

It works not by using the textual meaning of your words, but rather using information from facial expression and speaking inflexion to determine wether you are asking questions and the emotional nature of your words.

But I bet you don't care much about it, do you?

Great read, but you're gonna start a war most likely. Personally, I don't really care. Natal looks cool, and the things I'm seeing with the PSEye like Eyepet and those wands looks pretty cool to. Whatever seems entertaining to me when these things are out is what I'll go with... if I even bother.

After my experience with the Wii, I prefer standard controllers.

4 ≈ One

Great we'll have two skynets, hopefully they kill each other or we are doomed!

Former something....

So your argument is that Milo's achievements are mostly off of the software, rather than the hardware (NATAL)?

saving this. Will read later.

But regardless the ps eye is far more advanced then people give it credit for. ... That's sonys fault though. They need to show a live presentation of eye pet :p

Check out my game about moles ^

@OP: I think that if the technology was already available AND simple to make, Microsoft would have at least given us a tentative launch period, which they didn't. The fact that they still expect it to take quite a while makes me think it's much more advanced than a camera that Sony had a couple of years ago. Also, you can't forget the key differentiator that the Natal has a microphone as well (does the PSEye?)

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

And you can thank Nintendo's Waggle for unleashing this Skynet on the world.  If the hoard of hungry masses didn't buy up the waggled powered Wii, Sony and Microsoft would still be in the one up via graphics war, and Skynet wouldn't of happened.

Anyhow, the power of Milo is NOT in the cameras, it is in the computer power of the consoles and code it runs.

Sorry, but I don't trust articles that spell ''elbows'' wrong.
