Forums - Sony - Charted--Me. Just got my first platinum trophy! What was your 1st?

@DGC. Iput it on hard as soon as Cole stood-up at the blast sight. I never even took a single step before I switched it. This is a nightmare. It took a while to do this, and now it was for nothing. It was on hard all the way through.

Chapter 5, just after climbing the castle, in the courtyard before you find Elena's chute

This part?:

At the start I would use the Micro SMG, kill all those guys by just staying round the corner and taking them out as the reveal themselves, like he does, not using cover. Then move out, having got back your pistol, and take your time (use the higher cover) and make sure that you kill everyone waiting at the top for you that is going to shoot at you. His technique for going up the stairs is pretty good, I always had a problem with that guy round the corner to the left, and that bit can be tricky.

The next bit is quite tough, and I assume this is what your problem is. Follow what he does, but make sure you stay tight to the wall, but not in locked cover. Stay there until all the thread is gone, then you can advance, and use the crates if needed, follow what he does, but stay back more than he does.

Yeah it was that part, I'll try again but I would rather still like the game and not try anymore for the platinum instead of try for it and get frustrated and start to hate the game.  The thing that upsets me more than anything is, according to some people, the WAW Platinum is tougher yet I got it, but I cant get this one

My first was burnout paradise, now i got 3 more and hoping to get more.

WaW platinum! I got 1/3 of the way through before deciding that I really had better things to do than die over and over again due to having 20 grenades land on me, I mean that game was seriously unfair. I might get back to it if I get through all the other games I have this summer

That's step one. Then you have to go to new game on the save game menu. When you do that, it will be on hard mode. I was one of the fortunate ones to know this b4 I got the game.

See, thats how I feel about Uncharted platinum.  Although I think level 5 is only 1/4 of the way through LOL.   I didnt have a problem with all of the grenade spamming,  it some cases it was useful, you just have to get really good at picking up their grenades and throwing them back.  Then once you have that timing down you just have to pick your shots and wait them out,  the enemies eventually stop respawning.

yeea i dont have enough time to play with work and class, i hope to get a few platinums when class ends this dec, now im working on trophies for fallout uncharted and infamous,

Yeah, I was about the same way.  I really like Uncharted but crushing just wasn't fun.  I really don't like starting an encounter already in black and white because the only way to start an encounter is to step forward and get shot.

I may get bored one day and try to finish it but that will be a while since I have many games on my plate.

Yeah, I was about the same way.  I really like Uncharted but crushing just wasn't fun.  I really don't like starting an encounter already in black and white because the only way to start an encounter is to step forward and get shot.

I may get bored one day and try to finish it but that will be a while since I have many games on my plate.

I had played it 3 times before, so I thought I might as well, and I knew all the enemy locations already, it only took me about 6 hours to finish it, of course ignoring deaths, but I have never found a game that fun on the hardest setting

Yeah, I had just finished normal and hard when I started crushing so I knew where everything was, but I think that just made it worse.  I knew where the triggers that started the fight were that made the enemies pop out from hiding and shoot you.  I'm sure it was funny to watch because I would inch forward and jump to cover when nothing was there trying to dodge the bullets I knew where going to come at me.
