Forums - Sony - Charted--Me. Just got my first platinum trophy! What was your 1st?

I never really cared at all about trophies until a buddy of mine was bragging that he got his first platinum for Dead Space.  I was looking for a reason to play Uncharted a few more times, so I decided to match his platinum with one of my own.  I found hard difficulty to be a great experience and is probably the difficulty I will use for any further "fun" playthroughs.  Crushing, while not terrible, was cheap, IMO.  Enemies are not afraid to rush your position.  I just had to play smart and memorize enemy positions in a few areas.

I'm now a big believer in trophies for games you really like.  I'm not planning on whoring every trophy in every game.  Only games I can't get enough of.  Here's looking forward to my platinum for Uncharted 2.

What was your 1st platinum or the one you're currently going for?  Tell us about your experience.

Uncharted as well in fact. It's a popular platinum trophy if you look in the trophy league.

And like you, I don't believe in getting trophies for the sake of it, but if I really like a game, and a platinum trophy doesn't seem out of reach, then I might go for it. I'm thinking of making my 3rd platinum trophy the Prince of Persia one. I really enjoyed the game, and I wont beat myself up over it (my second one was Mirror's Edge).

Congrats!!

I plan on making inFamous my first.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

I won't bother with the online trophies for any game. I mentioned in a thread awhile back that I thought there should be separate platinums for offline and online for people who either aren't interested in online or games whose online communities are dead/dying such as Quantum of Solace. The only exception I can see myself making is for Uncharted 2 since I'm sure it will turn out to be one of my all-time favorite games seeing how much I love the first.

Fallout 3 was my first and my least favourite.

Are there any games that are considered extremely hard to achieve platinum? I assume LBP is one of them since many of the trophies rely on you making a decent level and people playing it.

inFamous will probably be my first.
I'm stuck on the last blast shard...

I thought it would be killzone 2 considering I made the top 1% trophy, but the single player campaign on the hardest difficulty ate too much time.

Socom, warhawk, Wipeout HD are considered the hardest.

Ugh, WipEout HD is a real pain for me. I seem to lack the necessary skills of not failing in order to acquire the platinum.

Anyway, my first (and only) platinum is in LittleBigPlanet; took me forever to get that stupid Create trophy.

Right now, I'm working on the InFamous trophy, I just need to beat the game on hard and find 100% of the blast shards. I'm getting there, but I tend to get sidetracked; the game itself is so good that I've almost beaten it three times now. XD

My first was RE5, my second was Godfather 2. My next one is Uncharted or inFamous.
