dragon quest 9 will sell around 6 million or more i think in japan and monster hunter 3 and mh3/wii bundle will sell a ton i think, around 3million i think combined. wsr will sell a couple million i think. ff13 if it does make it out this year in japan will sell a few million in copies and 200k i think in bundles, the psp go will around 10% of the dsi launch at most since dd isnt a big deal in japan. so "nintendo" has indeed won japan for the rest of 09.

You're absolutely right on all counts.. especially the PSP Go.. Sony has lost its mind if it thinks people will pay that much for a handheld.. they obviously never learned their lesson about the PS3.

This has to be sarcasm. And the psp has better graphics? This is the craziest shit I have seen recently, and with e3 here, that takes alot. GT5 we don't even know the release date yet, most likely not this year or it would have been announced. FFXIII will be big, but will it move enough consoles to beat the MH bundle and the NSMB wii effect? I think not. Lastly, again, we know nothing of a slim or of a pricecut.

MH3 was known as was DQ, but to me the game changer was NSMB.

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

You're forgetting that The Last Guardian could be and Gran Turismo 5 most likely will be released for PS3 in Japan this year to go along with FFXIII guaranteed. Also Tales for Vesperia will get normal sales for a Tales game in Japan on PS3 unlike the 360 version and Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 and Bayonetta will both be big on the PS3 in Japan later this year as well.

Great post that made sense and wasnt filled with Nintendo fanboy bullshit that thinks MH is the biggest shit ever and gonna out sell FFXIII.

To all the trolls and fanboys no DQ has ever lost to FF in sales in Japan. Accept it. Just like Monster Hunter wont outsell FFXIII. This isnt an insult to Sony or FFXIII you defensive idiots.
