Forums - Gaming - Less than a week till Prototype comes out and we still have no reviews

@JEDE
of course not. But why would anyone post a review now when it'll just be drowned at by the happenings of E3. It's just proper planning to help the traffic on their sites, you don't want to waste posting the Prototype review when everyone who would care is watching E3.

This title is a letdown for me. The moves are cool but the "I can just keep running because buildings are no obstacle for me, therefore I just run in a straight line"-move is boring. The fact that the game "stops" a lot without making you feel part of the game, is annoying too.

I just got off an inFamous-rush and this game didn't succeed in keeping that rush going imho.

Okay, can I worry tomorrow then? E3 ends today right? And tomorrow there wont be E3 news coming out.

My theory is that Sony might have paid some of the websites and magazines to hold off on the Prototype reviews since it is so similar to Infamous that they didn't want to lose out on week one sales.

you must believe in conspiracy theories

If there wasn't a review by the time it released I would worry, because that means they didn't send out review copies, which is never a good sign. Until then I'd just assume that the sites are just giving people time to calm down after E3.
