Metacritic shows one review on the Ps3 version. That however came from a magazine.

Is this good or bad news for Prototype? Lots of people were saying this game will blow Infamous out of the water with reviews and sales.

Too me this is a bad sign. Didn't Haze reviews come out the day it launched?

It's not completely damning of the game if it doesn't have tons of pre-release reviews. I remember something similar with COD: WAW.

Reviews being block only mean one thing. The game (*^$^%$ up.

You got to admit it's a little hard to get excited over the title right now. As for CoD... All it needs is Call of Duty and people will flip out over.

In short I'd agree it wouldn't be a game killer if the game was at least coming off a successful one. (Even if it wasn't a huge title)

they might of just sent out the review copies. instead of sending them out a couple of weeks ago

E3 conferences > Prototype

It can't be that horrible, its only review so far is a freakin 90. I would be pretty surprised if after that it started getting 60's from all the other reviewers.

My theory is that Sony might have paid some of the websites and magazines to hold off on the Prototype reviews since it is so similar to Infamous that they didn't want to lose out on week one sales.

A conspiracy theory seems alot more convoluted and unlikely than Disolitude's simplistic explination.  It is E3 week after all guys, you'll notice IGN hasn't put out any reviews this week.
