PS3 being the kiddy console confirmed?

Yeah but teens are broke with no money so they get they parents to buy them a console but the parents isn't going to buy a PS3 for its high price so they get a 360 or Wii.

you might be right.

I'm not filthy rich either.

Not Kenny poor, but not filthy rich.

In fact, I could have bought 3 more PS3s for what i've paid for games.

Also just noted this survey is not limited to the USA, which might explain some things but not all, and refers to the Playstation brand as a whole.

People who were kids when the Playstation/Playstation 2 were popular are now teens. Nothing surprising. It's probably the most appealing to them, but something their parents will never buy them. And the most popular console among teens is the Wii. Sales prove it.

Must be the entire Sony range. Round where I live every second person has a Sony ericsson mobile. Anecdotal I know .



Reasonable on 04 June 2009

It seems to be referring to the overall brand identify. In most brand reviews I've seen Nintendo and Sony easily rate higher than Microsoft. That's no offense to MS but when you remove Xbox (and Zune too I guess) from the equation you're left with a business company known for PC OS - hardly cool for teens I'd imagine.

Surprised it says coolest though - I'd have thought Apple would still be way up on back of iPod and iPhone, etc.



Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Not only that, but the 360 has a solid "mature" (take that in double quatation marks, actually) image. An image created by the sperhead 360 titles, that also seem to be the best selling ones on the system.

360 has a mature image.  From what I see in these videos that is false.
