Forums - Gaming - Aaron Greenberg -- FF14 will NOT be PS3 Exclusive (on 360 too)!!!

timed exclusive, duh like who didn't see that coming?

But honestly S-E has released jack shit on the PS3, hell it wouldn't surprise me if all their games, FF13, FF13versus, and FF14, will all of a sudden become 100% 360 exclusive....of course you'll never hear that, what you will hear is talk about multiplatform, and then only the 360 version gets released...and the PS3 drifts into nothingness....still waiting for last remnant on the PS3...woot!!!

I am sticking with my original plan of just getting it for my PC, if at all. I enjoy the controls more on PC for an MMO, rather than console. My consoles will host the majority of my others games.

I don't know...  if they can do keyboard and mouse support, why not play it on a console?  Personally, my computer isn't in the same room as my big TV, and I'd rather play an FF MMO on a big TV.

I know it's going to be a timed-exclusive but We really shouldn't be taking Greenberg's word for shit.

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.

Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi

Tretton didnt say it's an exclusive.

He said that the PS3 will be the only console you'll be able to play the game on when it launches in 2010. And so it will happen. He worded it very carefully.

I'm pretty sure he said exclusive like 3 times.

You're thinking of Agent, and he only said it twice
