In the end of 2009 and 2010, the PS3 sales should really kick in..in Japan for a number of reasons. Here they are:

- Final Fantasy 13, should be out this christams in Japan. This game is going to move hardware

- Final Fantasy Versus, again...the Japanese love their FF

- Final Fantasy 14, for the same reason as above

- Gran Turismo 5

- A cheaper PS3 will be available. This is pretty much confirmed by Sony's forecasts

- A slim PS3 could be introduced, if it looks nice then it could boost sales

- Maybe more PS3 Colours?

- All the other JRPGs that are going to come out next year (that we haven't hear tell of yet)

Agree, PS3 Slim+Price Cut+FFXIII+FFVXIII+FFXIV+Colors+GT5=domination

XIII alone will provide a large enough boost

XIII will give a large boost, and I see Versus moving some hardware as well (but not a big boost). I don't think FF XIV will move alot of hardware, it'll depend how the PS3 is selling in the weeks before (hardware will rise is the PS3 has sub 10k sales, but not so much if it's selling 20k a week).
