Forums - Microsoft - "For 360/PC" is an exclusive for 360 (Reasons)

This is obvious! Microsoft owns the Windows plataform, if they have a chance to put the game in their other plataform, of course they will do that.

But, the PC is not a console, you have to understand that you can't use this like an excuse/argument, your ps3/Wii/ps2/xbox is not a computer, if the game will be released only for 360 (in the consoles), this game will be an exclusive for 360, you don't need to cry and try to use this thing like an argument. Otherwise, LBP is not an exclusive for ps3 because the PSP will have a version. This makes no sense and is a lack of argument.

Let's put this thing to rest?

Already been noted. :)

agree im tired of the arguments the 360 dosnt have any exclusives casue theyre coming out on PC. ITS console exclusitivity and neither of the other consoles are getting it.

Long Live SHIO!

Exclusive means in the same marketing area, console games are not marketed to pc gamers nor are pc games to console gamers. Simple when you think about it. No fanboys are crying that their console isnt getting Starcraft 2. Because omg its "pc exclusive". Console gamers care bout consoles not pc games. If you enjoy both and have a pc > xbox360 then enjoy those titles on your pc. Still exclusives help the millions of xbox360 users who's pc is 3-5 yrs old still enjoy top notch graphics and titles that are exclusive to the system.

I agree - I mean PS3 has a lot of exclusive MMO's coming out like DC Universe, The agency etc. but they are also on PC

I've always regarded and exclusive as a game that is only available on one single platform out of the main three

Don't bother...if something comes to the playstation 3 and the psp...it's a exclusive, but if it comes to PC/360, it'ss not...so go figure.  What's important is that EDD  is making money in both cases.  Trying to use logic to debate with the M$ haterz is worthless.  They will readily point to EDD's bottomline as a knock on 360, but then say PC/360 isn't exclusivity...stupid.

It only matters for a minority who have both a decent gaming pc and a ps3 only.

I count them as exclusive although I try to get the PC version whenever possible =D

Exclusive means one platform. If i dont have console X i wont be able to play game Y.

The reason people do this is because the handheld version are usually significantly different from the home console in graphic, gameplay element and sometime are almost entirely different game.

PC/360 exclusive is good information because it allows PC gamers to know that there are alternative, unfortunately it gets hijacked too often in fanboy wars and has such a negative 'tag' to it which annoys the hell out of me. 'not true exclusive' indeed, sheesh.
