Yes but to the rest of the world, M$ conference was major win. Splinter Cell I think will get gaming sites award for best E3 game or maybe Forza 3 if it was playable. Alan Wake as well was amazing. The lighting in that game is untouchable. And the announcement of NATAL has my wife gagging. ( No I didnt gag her in any sexual way ) . ;)

your whole point focuses around motion control being the leading technology. I simply cut you off at the turn, there's no need to dispute what may in the end turn into you saying that everyone's tastes varies.

You want to say Sony and MS lost because they "admitted" that motion control was a "viable technology", although you dressed it up differently as "the future". I don't agree. Your whole argument implies that if Sony and MS had not shown Motion Control, it would have been a different story. So don't try to make it seem like I'm ignoring your points, because I think I have a better grapple on what you've said than you do.

If your point is something else, then you should reiterate, but from everything you've written so far, the winner is not the winner, but the best loser.

Oh... and as for E3. It's simple for me. For me it's all about the reveals.

Afterall it's the one day of the year reveals are put up against each other....

Microsoft basically had motion control... which does look amazing by the way... but it's all in the implementation... and I'm iffy on this till next generation.

Sony had a Wiimote and an FF14.

Nintendo had a sequel to the highest rated game on the system, a new 2D mario and Metroid.

Really doesn't seem like a contest at all since FF14 is an MMORPG.

Now if it were a regular RPG... then Sony probably would of one... but then again i'd just be worried the multiplat shoe was going to drop.

Nintendo basically did what everyone said it would have to do to win E3.  Show off core stuff.  Nobody else really showed.... anything.

We knew about just about everything before E3.

And you all are making FF14 waaaaaay to big a deal. It's basically FF11, reskinned and upgraded. That game didn't exactly set the world on fire, lol.

But M$ not only had the best graphics on show but had NATAL.
Already Ive had friends saying their missus wants this. And please dont ban me for this but 4 of them are selling their Wii's. If Natal gets marketing and sells a bundled Natal with an Arcade, maybe called Family pack for like $259 it would sell massively. NATAL is the biggest innovation in gaming for the last 20 years. Even if it doesnt fully sell amazing this gen. This tech will be improved and incorporated into the next Xbox.

of course YOU would say M$ won E3....

they also announced 2 exclusive psp games (big names too) and gave details for GT PSP.

On top of that they announced Agent (who knows what we'll see from that)
FF14

(They also have an unannounced title tomorrow night at 7:45 PST)
