But if he's like me, he'll own FF13 before the year ends.....supposedly.

Better to take the whole year in context. So far the PS3 has gotten a killer game every few months. In march it was Killzone 2, in May Infamous. Later in the year there will be Uncharted 2, Ratchet, WKC and more.

What has the 360 gotten exclusively this year to compete with Killzone 2 and Infamous? A mediocre RTS?

Uncharted 2 looks better then anything the 360 has on tap exclusively though the end of the year as well, and almost all the big 360 exclusive releases (Left4Dead, Splinter Cell ect) are going to the PC now and probably the PS3 later (especially splinter cell, they always start exclusive but never stay that way).

Once again the 360s best go to the PC (which costs less then the 360 to get far more) while the PS3 exclusives are truly exclusive to the PS3.

I'd say, 2.7 millions of copies sold should be considered a big game.

Back on topic, I do believe that GT 5 will release this year, a few month ago, during an interview, Yamauchi laughed at the thought of seeing this game delayed to 2010.

Gran Turismo 5 will be released this christmas to go along with the slim ps3 along with the price cut.

I think you're spot on aside from GT 5. If it was coming this year we would have seen more of it and Sony would have given it a release date.
