Sony said the PSPgo would retail for the same price as a Launch PSP. So that would be like

250 USD

250 EURO

180 GBP

But if you take exchange rates into account then it looks more like this

250 USD = 175 EURO

250 USD = 150 GBP

180 GBP = 300 USD

180 GBP = 210 EURO

250 EURO = 365 USD

250 EURO = 215 GBP

So why the hell does the US get is so freaking cheap? Are they a poor nation or something. And yet you still complain about the PSPgo's price? Move to freaking Europe then you can complain. Why is it so Expensive in Europe for really?

Sony really do know how to rip of the customers. I would love to pay 150 GBP for a PSPgo. My countries prices the UK is in the middle so. But why does America always get special treatment for? No wonder these console makers are complaining about the US i mean how the hell is Sony supposed to make money over in the US?

a significant reason for the difference in price is that in europe it is customary for sales tax to be included in the price while in north america it is tacked on after. Therefore in uk take of 15% and in france, germany, etc take off approximatly 20%

If it launches in the UK between £150 - £175 I will consider getting one but I'm more likely to buy a PSP-3000
