At the rate the 360 and PS3 is selling, do you think (by extrapolation perhaps) the lifetime sales of either of the two consoles will surpass the install base of the regular Xbox?

 I always thought it wouldn't because both consoles are competeting for the same limited market much like the Xbox did.

i think the 360 will but right now with sony refocusing on the ps2 i am not so sure about the future of the ps3

 The X360 will surpass the Xbox in worldwide sales by mid to end of 2009.     The jury is still out on the PS3 right now.
