gah, I should ban you over such a lousy suggestion as Wario or Waluigi. Especially Waluigi who is by far the worst character in the Mario universe.

As for Peach/Daisy, who else do you expect to save?

go play Super Paper Mario, you can play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser. The game was tons of fun for anyone who wasn't dead set on it being a turn based RPG.

they are great btw, but not necessarily for Mario Bros.

Toads belong there much more and maybe Peach as well, Toad is awesome character, and he was one of 4 playable on GBA Mario Bros. so why are you dissapointed, i don't get it!

I was here, reading the live blog when it all happened. And I must say, VGChartz did a better job of hyping things up than the actual show. I WAS psyched for NSMBWii, until I saw it. Mr. Miyamoto spent decades trying to think up a 'new' way to play Mario Bros? Um ... isn't this the same formula we saw with Four Swords Adventure, and even the mini game in NSMB for DS? This is not new. And I didn't really enjoy either of those games or the concept. I dunno, that's just me.

Eh. I'm fine with M, L and T. Dunno why T2 is there.

Well, I do agree with you that Waluigi is by far the worst character in the Mario universe, but I was trying to think of characters from Mario who could actually possibly use the powerups and such.

i think it would have been fine if there was only one toad, but when they put in the other one both toads seemed to have less soul and seemed WAY more generic because of it i guess.

that's why most of us would rather have another character instead. so people are making suggestions (great ones in fact) to solve this *minor detail.

i would like more characters so my friends don't get stuck as a generic toad (i know i wouldn't wanna be one). BUT even if they don't put in more characters it's fine by me.

This game is a dream come true for me :) i've been wanting something like this since a saw super paper mario and i thought it was gonna be like NSMB:Wii but it wasn't.

I actually would like Peach in a SMB2 way. Bowser no, as I've played with him in Super Paper Mario and he is the best bad guy ever.

Wario/Waluigi do not belong fighting with Mario for multiple reasons. First, they are bad guys. Second they are very irritable and I hate both of them as characters.

You can use Yoshi, so he is out of the equation, and that only leaves you with other more out there characters. They could introduce someone new, but that may be pushing it.

Peach? Wario? What!? My pappy once told me, "Women ain't heroes. Women is meant for being saved!" He believed this so strongly, that when a female doctor tried to perform his heart transplant, he took the heart and threw it out of the window........Rest in peace, pappy.

As for Wario, he's pure evil! And nobody would stand a chance getting coins with him in the mix. No doubt he'll be a hidden character, anyway.

As others have doubtlessly said, at least Peach and Toad, to give a nod to SMB2

I'm just going to be going for broke on single player, anyway. So it really doesn't matter.
