MS has more audio stuff that neither Nintendo or SONY will probably do for a good long while, but on the motion front SONY's solution seems one step above motion plus and alot less vapor ware than Natel. MS is going to have to add a controller in their solution. Playing a FPS with my fingers shaped as a gun is not going to fly.

On topic:  I think the wand is cool.  It's essentially a Wiimote + Wii Motion Plus.

Also, no one can ever again knock Wii for motion controls.

Considering that both MS and SONY solutions are not the primary way to play most of their games its seems much better to me. Also, people commenting on the shape or calling it the purple dildo must not have heard that it was an engineer prototype.

The Sony motion controller looks pretty lame, looks like an exact copy of the Nintendo Wii-Mote/Motion Controller.

Honestly, I have serious doubts that both MS and Sony's motion stuff will gain significant traction, or much support. So far, the only add-on that's ever gained significant market share is the Balance Board, which, even with 2/5 Wii owners having one, very few games support it. The Wii Motion Plus looks like it will probably gain a very high ownership rate, mostly because of Nintendo's heavy pushing of it, bundling it into many games (Wii Sports Resort, especially).

I like the fact that is has buttons, and that you are actually holding something compared to Natal. Having said that, Natal still impressed me more.
