the reason i would look at MGS:R oddly cause it seams like its gunna be a pure action game with the lightning bolt action instead of tactical stealth action(MGS4) Tactical Espionage Action (MGS1+2+3) Stealth Action (MGS: portable ops).
like others i have the feeling that we are gunna get a game more like DMC, GOW and NG. if its a good game then its all good for everyone.
Im happy to see Peace maker. Portable ops was great. outer heavan forms.

Ah great example. We all know how fluidly the storyline of the Subspace Emissary matched the gameplay on screen, and we know how seriously Nintendo took that story. Is Kojima sure this isn't an offshoot? I just can't imagine having played MGS4 with four player co-op all as Snake and having everyone disappear for every cutscene just to reappear for action. Then again, I'm used to in game dedicated characters in my co-op that are in the story, thus involving everyone as an important piece of the game. Basically this will be a co-op game where you interact with eachother but are supposed to pretend for story purposes that Big Boss is alone the entire time.

Hey I'm not saying it won't be fun. That part was especially hilarious. I'm just saying having imaginary co-op partners involved in a heavily story based campaign is not the brightest idea.

That translator seems like he added a lot of things to Kojima's comments. Kojima would say two words, and that guy would say forty! Either way, true sequel or not, they're all part of the Metal Gear story. To get the full story, we're going to have to play them both.
