Based on, from what I could understand him say, It can monitor your heart rate, so you can use it in relaxation games, ala Endless Ocean, for example...or you could be badass and incorporate it into a horror game, The Grudge, for example, have your character react to what youre feeling, have it dictate the game.

...But just like anything it depends on the imagination of the developers....

Yeah, it looked on the surface like he'd turned into a new-age, "spiritual" quack. But it isn't aimed at us, it's aimed at non-gamers and people who don't own the Wii yet. So I can safely ignore it and focus on the Metroid.

At first glance it certainly does seem like an odd peripheral, but creative studios should be able to come up with some interesting scenarios aside from the obvious health/exercise genre.

Regardless, it will sell millions.
