So in order to use all the cars and what not, you have to swap discs around? Other vehicles and maps are on the second disc?

This is NOT a linear game...so multiple discs = fail. Have certain cars and maps on a specific disc is like having a certain island on a specific disc in GTA. You just don't do that.

Edit: Oh, I read the comments here, and most said that it wouldn't ship on more than one disc, so....pwned. They need a second disc for the remainder of the cars and maps. And according to Joystiq: "we now have confirmation that not all gamers will be able to enjoy all 400 vehicles promised at the Microsoft press briefing."

That's messed up. We all pay $60 at retail......

1 dvd for 50 cars lol

Everyonw who has a HDD dont have to worry ( unless it adds up to 20 Gb or more lol)

the 2nd disc is just a data transfer...

install it like all the now pick up and play 360 games that are totaly downloadable!

You can't call people idiots who wanted to get into HD gaming for cheap. That's what the $199 price point is for. And it may be "just a data transfer" but everyone's been touting that Forza 3 has 400 cars and blah blah blah....but they don't even fit on one disc, so what's the point. If I was Arcade owner and I wanted to drive a Maserati (just an example, I dunno if it's actually in the game or not), but had to swap the disc just to drive it....but couldn't drive it on the map I wanted because that's on the first disc.....that causes problems, doesn't it?

Just going by the title you imediately known this is a troll trying to justify his shock that Forza3 is actually good and whats more will be out before GT5.

Do your reading comprehension problems only apply to press releases with Microsoft exclusives? It clearly says in the second paragraph that disc 2, the one with the extra tracks and cars is a data transfer disc. It will load into your hard drive and you will use disc 1 to play the game itself.

Just by reading the title, it's trolling? By asking how many DVDs it'll be on? Question: By having so many more polygons than Forza 2, according to Turn 10, and 400 cars, why is it trolling to ask how many discs it's going to be on, knowing the 360s disc limitations?

With Turn 10 saying it will ship on 2 discs, what part of his question was trolling again?
