How about superior controls?

GT, this is an example of what I was talking about in the PS3 moderator thread.  Instead of engaging in discussion, you're just ignoring what everyone else is saying, throwing in your one-liner, and then demanding people "prove" you wrong.  Forums are not supposed to be about proving people wrong, they're supposed to be about having conversations. 

What the hell are you talking about?  Everything we are talking about here is opinion.  There is no such thing as one game being better than another by fact.  The fact is that opinions are all that we have to determine whether we like a game better or not.  We can base our opinoins on experiences though, and you have no experience with Metroid Prime 3, so you have no right to make a judgement call on it.  In my experience, the controls of Metroid Prime 3 far surpass dual analog, which is what Halo 3 uses. 

The fact that you even think they are similar games shows your ignorance of Metroid Prime 3 and your bias towards anything not on the Wii.  Everyone has the right to their opinions, but I don't respect fanboy opinions with no reasoning behind them.  

My point about this review is that it's inconsistent.  If you hold games on one console to a different standard than games on another console then you are not a credible review source.  Journalists are supposed to be professional and consistent when reviewing games.  Gamespot is not, and so I don't think they are a valid source of accurate reviews. 

i think alot of people are seeing the numbers and saying that is where it stops--thats not it MP3 was faulted for being the third game in a series---they even said a great series.....

mean while halo3 (the third in a series) was a bonus for that fact ???

Fact - Metroid Prime 3 has more female leads than Halo 3.
Fact - Metroid Prime 3 has more grappling beams than Halo 3.
Fact - Metroid Prime 3 has more collectable items that influence gameplay (In a different Manner)
Fact - Metroid Prime 3 has more puzzles than Halo 3.
Fact - Metroid Prime 3 has more bosses than Halo 3.

Well, there are 3 quick facts about Metroid Prime 3 compared to Halo, having not played either (So in fact, may actually be wrong. My apologies). Now, whether these are good facts that make a game better is opinion. Kinda weird, ain't it?
